DESCRIPTION
The Model MSLA/XL-90 is an
inline, fully automatic machine. It is designed to select a preset
stack length of armature laminations from a main supply magazine or
in the case of interlocked lamination, to accept the prestacked core
then check this stack to determine proper length tolerance. If
correct, the Model MSLA/XL-90 will select it (from a main supply
hopper) and place a shaft to the correct position in the selected
core. Finished assemblies are automatically unloaded to an outgoing
transfer system.
Where double insulated tubes
are required, another station can be added, which selects and places
the tube in the same manner prior to the shaft select and place
station.
Skewing of loose lamination
stacks is accomplished using an adjustable angle alignment key in
the lamination transfer nest that is set to the correct angular
position prior to shaft or tube insertion.
