ADF/XL-90

 

DESCRIPTION 

The Model ADF/XL-90 is the latest in Micafil’s highly successful “ADF” series of double flier armature winding machines.  Designed-in flexibility permits its use for high production winding of two and four pole motor armatures as a “Stand Alone” machine or, when equipped with our modular designed automatic load/unload system, as part of an automated system. 

Both the flier drive and the rotator drive of the ADF/XL-90 use closed velocity and position loop, AC brushless servo systems.  The control system is microprocessor based and programmable through a user friendly operator interface panel.  

In addition to the sophisticated machine control, the ADF/XL-90 offers the solid, proven winding techniques of all our “ADF” series winders and the latest in mechanical design features such as super quick change tooling, three (3) way movable wire grippers and “on hub” lead hook assist actuators. 

As with all our “ADF” series of armature winders, the ADF/XL-90 incorporates our heavy duty cast bed and precision machined flier spindle heads, famous for their reliability under rugged production conditions.

Production
